Caring, learning and achieving together - Gofalu, dysgu a chyflawnu gyda'n gilydd

Literacy week success!!!

Such a rewarding week at school:

Buddy reading took off with a blast.  The pupils' responses were incredible.

A teaching triad is continously working on studying the benefits of 'Talk for writing ' and the affect it has on writing standards. They collaboratively plan, team teach and evaluate together

We had a fantastic turn out for the shared writing afternoon where all involved worked together to improve pupils' 500 Words stories.  Thank you to all who came (Watch this space for a Foundation Phase afternoon). Mrs Pugh informed parents/grandparents of our process of writing in school involving reading for meaning, talking and writing. All involved helped to 'uplevel'  sentences together.

All pupils are excited and inspired to write, talk and read. We look forward to Big Foot Theatre visiting after half term to inspire us to write about the story of Branwen.
