Dear Parent/Carer
QUEEN’S 90TH
BIRTHDAY – ROYAL BRITISH ‘PARTY
We will be holding our ‘street party’ at school on Friday 10th
June. This date links with the ‘Royal
British Lunch’ which the Royal British Legion will be holding that weekend as
they celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. Throughout the day, the children will take
part in a variety of class based activities with ‘street party’ fun in the
afternoon.
The children are invited to come dressed as members of the
Royal Family, wearing crowns, cloaks etc!
We will also hold a competition for the children to create a crown – it
must be wearable, and it must be clear that the children have helped in the
process!
The party will be a ‘bring a plate’ party. Your child’s class teacher will speak to the
children in the class and made plans about who can bring what to the
party. This makes sure that all
children in the class will have something they enjoy to eat.
All we need now are the children and the sunshine!
I’m sure it will be a fantastic, fun day for everyone.
Thanks for your continued support.
Mrs Loveridge
